What We Do
Ultrasound
This is a rapidly developing new tool in veterinary diagnostics. It is completely
non-invasive, with most patients not even requiring sedation. It is so useful in the
diagnosis of so many medical conditions that we wonder how we ever managed
without it!
Our new ultrasound machine is a Mylab 40, which is fully digital and animal specific. Didier has spent time training in Auckland with Chris Warman, from the Vet Specialist Group (VSG).Our affiliation with VSG means that we are able to scan a patient here and if necessary, email the images to the VSG specialist for immediate interpretation, saving the patient a trip to Auckland!
This service is not only for our own patients but is also utilised by 'outpatients' from other Northland practices.

Xray
Mill Road Vet Clinic provides an exceptionally high standard of
radiology. Didier has undertaken extensive post-graduate study
through the University of Sydney in this important diagnostic field.
This has led to the recent purchase of state of the art equipment and
a new purpose-built diagnostic suite.
Again, we also x-ray 'outpatients' from other clinics around Northland.
