Debbie hails from South Africa, from where she migrated to New Zealand
with her family as a child. They settled in Christchurch. She graduated
from Massey University in 2004 and from there went on to practice in
Oamaru. Starting as a mixed vet, she quickly realised that her passions
lay with small animals. She joined the Mill Road Vet Clinic in 2008 and her
enthusiasm and dedication has been no small factor in the practice's
recent growth. She has great surgical and medical skills and a developing
interest in ultrasonography.
When not hard at work, Debbie is hard at play! She lives the Northland lifestyle; fishing, diving, riding and playing netball. She has recently married fellow vet Ben and they are now also busy renovating their new home. Their family currently consists of Shay, the Border collie, and Dee, the pedigree mongrel!
